Education outside the classroom
PE and sport programmes are organised by outside
schools including ourselves. School teams are organised for basketball, netball, volleyball, softball, mini-pitch and Teeball. We also participate in inter-school sports competitions including cross-country and swimming. The school swimming pool is used during summer months by each class on a daily basis. Class day trips and class camps are a feature of school life. A permission form for general
outings is sent home 2 weeks prior to outing for
each child involved.
Fair play
As a school we support fair play principles and
expect them to be promoted in all sporting activities that Te Kura o Pakipaki children participate in.
